  • Height: Beagles come in two height varieties; 13 inches and under, and 13-15 inches. In the show ring, a beagle over 15” at the shoulder is disqualified.

  • Weight: under 20 pounds (13” and under), 20-30 pounds (13”-15”).

  • Beagles are a member of the Hound Group, who are energetic and require plenty of playtime.

  • Common colors include lemon, red and white, and tricolor.
